Washington, DC, December 2, 2019 – The Railway Supply Institute (RSI) announced today that Harrison Wadsworth, Director of Government Affairs for Siemens, has been appointed to the RSI Board of Directors to fill a seat vacated by Siemens Mobility President of Mobility Management in North America, John Paljug, following his retirement from Siemens Mobility earlier this month.
Wadsworth currently serves as Chairman of the RSI Government and Public Affairs Committee (GPAC), where he plays a key role in driving RSI’s federal policy initiatives and legislative strategy. Before joining Siemens, Wadsworth spent six years managing congressional affairs at the Association of American Railroads and previously spent time in the House of Representatives.
“Harrison has been instrumental to the success of RSI’s advocacy initiatives on the RSI GPAC and will be an effective representative of Siemens Mobility on the board,” said current Board Chairman Robert Hulick, Executive Vice President of TrinityRail.
On his appointment, Wadsworth said “Siemens is leading the digital transformation of transportation and infrastructure operations across the country. We are helping transportation operators adopt new technologies to make their operations more efficient and maximize insights from their intelligent infrastructure. It is an honor to join the RSI board where I can continue to work closely with industry colleagues to advocate for advanced technological advancements on behalf of the entire railway supply industry.”
