Amanda Trainor Patrick is the sales manager at the Railway Supply Institute, Inc. (RSI). Since joining RSI in 2008, Amanda has contributed to RSI through managing publications, maintaining communications with the board of directors, and most notably, managing the annual trade show and other events.
In 2015, Amanda was selected to participate in the ASAE NextGen Association Summit where leading young association professionals and established association thought leaders come together to specifically focus on the state of young professionals in associations and the association community. In 2014, she received her IAEE Certificate in Exhibition Management (CEM), a conference management accreditation. Amanda is the on the executive committee of the League of Railway Industry Women (www.lriw.org), an organization that promotes the professional development and advancement of women in the rail industry.
Amanda was raised in Caruthersville, Missouri located in Bootheel, the most southeast portion of the state where her parents own a pizza place. She attended undergraduate school at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri where she studied political science and economics. In her free time Amanda enjoys reading, wrangling her children, yoga, and visiting Civil War battlefields. She currently resides in Falls Church, Virginia with her husband Sherman, her three daughters, and their cat Ramses.
