Hawkins, Hulick, McNeeley Elected to RSI Board of Directors
MONTREAL, Quebec, September 22, 2014 – Tom Simpson, president of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), today announced the election of three new members of the RSI board of directors at the group’s annual meeting, held during this week’s RSI/CMA 2014 and Canadian Rail Summit here. The new board members are: Brian Hawkins, director of business development - freight, Siemens Rail Automation Unit; Robert Hulick, executive vice president, Trinity Rail; and Joe McNeeley, president & CEO, FreightCar America.
“These new board members will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2015,” said Simpson. “Brian, Robert and Joe will ably represent RSI, its members and the railway supply industry in their new roles.”
Simpson also announced the 2015 RSI executive committee: Chairman Jeff Stearns, vice president sales and marketing, Wabtec; Vice Chairman Tom DeJoseph, vice president marketing and sales,  Loram Maintenance of Way; and Secretary-Treasurer Jim Frantz, president and CEO, Graham-White Manufacturing Company.
The RSI annual meeting, along with RSI/CMA 2014 and the Canadian Rail Summit, are being held in Canada for the first time at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, September 22-23. Simpson noted that more than 1,100 attendees are expected at the event, along with more than 130 exhibitors displaying new technologies to further improve rail industry efficiency, safety and competitiveness at the sold-out trade show.
