US DOT Fiscal Year 2014 Budget Request
After a delay while Congress debated sequestration and completed the FY 2013 continuing appropriations bill, the Obama Administration finally released its FY 2014 Budget Request on April 10, 2013. Both the House and Senate have already passed their respective FY 2014 Budget Resolutions and have begun the FY 2014 appropriations process, so it is unclear how much influence the Administration’s recommendations will have on the funding debate. Please see the chart below for a summary and links that further explain the budget in regards to transportation and the rail industry.
