Early Registration Rates Extended for CMA, Railway Interchange/2013 Exhibits

Exhibition Space Sells Out, Sponsorships Remain; Hotels Nearing Capacity  

Indianapolis, Ind., August 23, 2013 – Early registration rates have been extended to September 10 for the Exhibition and Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA) Technical Conference at Railway Interchange 2013, the USA-based combined exhibition and technical conference taking place Sunday, September 29 through Wednesday, October 2 at the Indiana Convention Center.  The early registration deadline for the AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association) Annual Conference has passed.

The Railway Interchange 2013 exhibition showcases the latest technology, services, and research by members of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA), and Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI). Railway Interchange 2013 also features technical presentations and discussions by members of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA).

“Exhibition booth space has sold out, and hotels are nearing capacity for Railway Interchange 2013,” said RSSI Executive Director Secretary/Treasurer Michael A. Drudy.  “Conference and exhibition sponsorships are still available,” noted Tom Simpson, RSI president.  Those registering after September 10th will register at a $50 cost increase; railroad employees are eligible for complimentary exhibition passes when registering, according to David Soule, REMSA executive director.

Opening ceremonies for the exhibition will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, September 29 in the Convention Center lobby outside the exhibition hall entrances. The exhibition closes on Tuesday, October 1.
