Registration Note: Railway Interchange 2011 Registration costs will increase on August 10, 2011. Those wanting to attend this joint exhibition can register online or through a faxable form. Attendee registration for Railway Interchange 2011 is being coordinated by American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA).

Secretary of Transportation Keynote Speaker.

Ray LaHood, the US Department of Transportation's Secretary of Transportation, will keynote Railway Interchange 2011's Opening Session. In nominating him, President-elect Obama said, "Few understand our infrastructure challenge better than the outstanding public servant that I'm asking to lead the Department of Transportation." Show exhibitors and attendees alike will hear Secretary LaHood outline his views of the particular challenges railroaders face in the coming months and years.
