Positive Train Separation (PTS) is the latest in train safety technology, and several RSI members companies are on the leading edge in PTS research. The Committee on Train Control Technologies is comprised of representatives from member companies involved in the research and development of these technologies.
The committee promotes the research and development of PTS, and acts as a liaison between train control suppliers and customers, government regulators, and others interested in the development of this technology.
